Teams Playing in the Odisha T20 League CM Trophy 2026
Six franchises make up the field this season, with last year’s champions returning to defend their crown.

There’s a naming mismatch worth flagging here. The published schedule lists the Rourkela franchise as Rourkela Superstars, while the official squads announcement from the Odisha Cricket Association refers to the same team as Rourkela Steelers. Cricketide will update this once the organisers confirm the correct name. Source: Odisha Cricket Association, Facebook; Tribune India.

Kataka Panthers Head Into Season Two With a Target on Their Back
Nine days of league cricket will lead into a qualifier and final, giving Odisha’s emerging players a bigger stage to showcase their talent. Kataka Panthers arrive as defending champions, but a six team, fifteen game league phase leaves plenty of room for one of the other five sides to knock them off their perch. With Star Sports Khel, Tarang Music and FanCode all carrying the action, this looks set to be the most watched edition of the tournament yet.
