The 2026 Women’s T20 Asia Cup is underway in Dubai, and the tenth edition of this tournament carries more weight than most. Eight teams are chasing the same trophy across a tight, single venue window, with Group A and Group B both building toward a September 5 fixture that fans across the region have circled since the draw was announced.

For anyone trying to plan their viewing around work, school, or a very different time zone, here’s everything on the schedule, the groups, the venue, how each side qualified, and where to catch every match live.

Asia Cup 2026 Schedule and Match Timings

Harmanpreet Kaur captains India with Smriti Mandhana as her deputy, and the squad saw one late change before the tournament began. According to the BCCI, a hamstring injury ruled Jemimah Rodrigues out, and Pratika Rawal replaced her. Pakistan made a similar switch, naming Sadaf Shamas after Najiha Alvi picked up an injury of her own.

The United Arab Emirates is hosting the entire tournament this year.

The tournament features all 15 matches at Dubai International Stadium, from the group-stage opener to the final. A single venue keeps travel simple for all eight squads and keeps conditions broadly consistent across the three week window. It’s a ground several of these teams already know well from past ICC and ACC events, so nobody walks in blind.

Asia Cup 2026 Team Qualification

Four of the eight teams came in through direct qualification, while the other four had to earn their place through a separate event.

  • Direct qualification as full members: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
  • Qualified through the 2026 ACC Women’s Premier Cup, held in Malaysia on 13 June 2026: Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates

Indonesia’s spot is worth noting on its own. This is their first appearance at a Women’s Asia Cup, and the qualification path through Malaysia is what got them here.

Where to Watch the Asia Cup 2026 Live

Fans in India have a clear path to every match without needing to search around.

  • Live telecast: Sony Sports Ten 1, with regional language coverage on Sony Sports Ten 3 and Sony Sports Ten 4
  • Live streaming: SonyLIV app and website

This comes from Sony Sports Network’s own broadcast rollout for the tournament. Viewers outside India should check their own region’s official broadcaster, since rights usually differ market to market, and the Asian Cricket Council’s channels are the best place to confirm local coverage.

Asia Cup 2026 Race Still Has Plenty Left to Decide

Eight teams, one venue, and a group stage still working itself out, that’s where the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup stands right now. The format rewards consistency across three group matches, and with fixtures running right up to September 8, there’s very little room for a team to have an off night and still expect to reach the semi finals. Anyone following along should keep an eye on the schedule above, since the results column will fill in fast over the next two weeks.
